Full length GTA IV machinima movie

Follow the exploits of The Trashmaster as he ventures through New York City (Liberty City?), as depicted in RockStar Game's Grand Theft Auto IV.

Microsoft paid a rumoured US$50M for exclusive Grand Theft Auto content.  This included the two Episodes from Liberty City, The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and Damned, two gritty takes on life in the Grand Theft Auto IV universe.  But, today, Rockstar Games announce the defection of this content from Xbox 360 to Games for Windows and shock, horror, the PlayStation 3.

Grand Theft Auto IV goes gay

Well not quite, the next in the series of exclusive download material for Xbox 360 owners of Grand Theft Auto IV has been announced.  In many ways it is diametrically opposite the first episode “The Lost and Damned”.  Prepare to whistle along to “The Ballad of Gay Tony”.

Grand Theft Auto IV has sold several truck loads of copies, the downloadable content The Lost And Damned has proven popular on Xbox LIVE and Rockstar Games are poised to release content on the ever present Nintendo DS.  Yet parent company Take-Two Interactive cannot make a buck?

Xbox LIVE opens up for all of the Lost and Damned

With the release of exclusive Grand Theft Auto IV content, Microsoft have thrown open the multiplayer doors on Xbox LIVE, allowing even non-Gold members access to The Lost and Damned chapters of GTA IV.  But only for a limited time.

GTA for the Nintendo Wii? RockStar say .....

Back in 2006 rumours of RockStar producing a Nintendo Wii version of Grand Theft Auto were filling up the pipes of the internet.  And still they won’t die.

Quad Core and SecurROM for GTA IV PC release

Grand Theft Auto IV for the PC has made it to retail shelves and digital distribution services.  The game will require SecurROM activation, but RockStar Games reassure GTA IV PC fans that the DRM won’t be too heavy.

Spore cops anti-christian tag

It could be a hoax, but the antispore blog has been up for a couple of days now, with all sorts of raves against the latest Maxis opus, Spore.  Who would have thought that a PG rated game could raise christian ire as much as a good session of Grand Theft Auto IV?

EA withdraw Take-Two offer, good for gaming

Electronic Arts make some marvellous games, bending their might to yearly editions of many a sports simulation.  They have also been responsible for developing and publishing some of the biggest franchises in gaming history, and next month Spore hits the EA Stable.  So why is the (now withdrawn) EA push to take over Grand Theft Auto publisher Take-Two so bad?
